A request for support

This is really hard for me to talk about and the reason for my lack of posts this week…
Last weekend at our Wild Feminine ~ S O U L M E D I C I N E gathering 70 women were at Staveley camp for a weekend of transformation.
It was INCREDIBLE!!
So many awesome connections, revelations, laughter, tears and awakenings!
During the Sat morning breathwork session we got a gale-force winds met service notification saying that winds of over 150kms were predicted.
A few minutes later we looked out the window and saw our beloved bell tent get taken away by the wind.
I think that image will be imprinted on my mind forever.
The last time I was in the tent would have been less than 2 hours before.
Amber and I did some yoga and had a good chat about our health, we both remarked how perfect, healing, calm and beautiful the tent was.
To think that this healing space was completely wrecked was too much for me to comprehend in that moment…
The hours that followed brought devastation and disorientation for me.
I was unable to present my ‘Healing the Mother Wound’ workshop (I was unable to speak at all)
While I was sobbing the women gathered around the remains of the tent and carefully, lovingly rescued the statues, sheepskins and crystals.
A special wave of gratitude goes out to Louise who had spent hours and hours styling the tent twice in the last couple of weeks with the interior red fabric as she folded and took care of it all.
I had drawn the ‘Spirit of Air’ A favourable wind is blowing on your life card at the beginning of the retreat…
Kinda ironic eh?
It certainly didn’t feel favourable at the time…
This tent has meant so much to so many, it played such a major role in my healing after Simon died last year as my space to cry, breathe and meditate.
It has served for many group ceremonies, trainings, circles and celebrations as well as a massage, yoga and meditation space for all.
When Amber offered to put up a Give a little page, I was humbled and felt overwhelmed.
Aghhh, why is it so uncomfortable to ask for help?!
Asking for help is what I preach, maybe I need to practice it a little more…
I’m used to being the one giving instead of receiving.
So here’s an invitation to you dear ones, if this space means something to you, if you have spent time here (or a loved one has) you’ll know the magic of it…
Please consider contributing to bring it back in a stronger, more robust and even more beautiful, spacious capacity.
What I’d like to create is a space to run the Priestess Path Spiral Journey next year as well as more of our Red Tent Facilitator Trainings and our monthly circles.
Also more Yoga, Meditation and breathwork circles for our community…
Here’s the link to contribute (huge waves of gratitude to dear Amber for creating this)
Thank you so much in advance,
Ngā mihi nui,
Jill Natalia xx
