Red Tent Aotearoa Facilitator Training
Imagine creating a group of women who show up for themselves and lead from the heart. In this training you will learn everything you need to know to do this. As we do this, we become more aware and responsible for our own growth whilst supporting each other. Red Tent Aotearoa invites you to become a holder of sacred space for women.

The invitation

Facilitator Training Experiences
H. Mali | Waikato
"The Red Tent Aotearoa Facilitator training has not only gifted me the foundational jewels and framework that I need to hold a safe & sacred space for women to commune and connect, but also the appreciation and gratitude of the inner strength and power of courageous ‘ordinary’ women paving their extraordinary path. We, Us women, are indeed leaders in our own rights - birthing, nurturing, grounding, forging alliance with the womb of creation. Red Tent is that resounding trumpet calling us to commune in sisterhood, embracing our leadership of guiding virtues of compassion and grace. So it is!"
Samara | Westport
"I thoroughly enjoyed the Red Tent Facilitator training I took part in, in October 2023. It opened doors to my own healing that I was not aware of. It is not for the faint hearted. Jill's teachings have allowed my own experiences to become the foundation for the capacity in which I can offer and provide a container to allow other women to learn about themselves. I am grateful for the sisterhood that I have been blessed with because of the Red Tent."
TJ | Sunshine Coast
"Unlike other trainings I've done, during the Red Tent Aotearoa Facilitator Training an unbreakable bond is formed. A bond, that I can still feel even though it's been 4 years since I did the training and I am still connected with the women I trained with and we speak regularly. It's the kind of thing I've always needed in my life but didn't know it until I found it."
Ali Davies | Greymouth
"If you are wanting to connect with other women, or are longing for a supportive and safe space to be, and express yourself, share deep thoughts. Look no further you have found a safe place! Highly recommended for self care, growth and connection with women."
Shona | Brisbane
"My experience with the Red Tent Facilitator Training was truly incredible!
I felt so included, so loved, so honoured and so acknowledged. I was really blown away that there could be so much love between women as this was not my life experience (hurt mother would not let any woman near her and conveyed that fear to all her kids). I laughed, I cried, I spoke out, I was listened to (a really big thing for me). All in all I rate this experience as one of the best things I have done for myself in order to be able to help others!
Much love"

Faq's for becoming a Red Tent Aotearoa Facilitator
1. How much does it cost to become a Red Tent facilitator?
The total cost for the 4 1/2 day training is $2,200
We can attend your opening circle and support you every step of the way.
You are not alone! We offer use of the logo, handbook, and TONNES OF SUPPORT!
2. Will I make money from being an RTA Facilitator?
Yes! You will receive 100% of your ticket sales! You can hold as many circles and workshops as your schedule permits. The business model we hand you is built on Sacred Commerce and lets you be able to do as much as you desire.
Run with it and build an empire, we will support you all the way!!
OR hold one circle a month to make some incredible connections and offer the gift of connection to your community, we will support you all the way!!
You will be required to be a current corporate member of Red Tent Aotearoa while you are running circles using the Red Tent name and logo.
Our facilitators experience lots of rewards from providing life-changing experiences to the women in their community. We respect your time, talent and experience, so we want to make sure that you earn an income for your time; the bigger your circle the more you earn. But that should not be the goal…
Even if one woman attends it will have been worth it.
3. What about things like Facebook for my branch?
We teach you how to manage your branch’s Facebook page/group at the training.
4. How will I know what to do and say?
We provide you with a handbook that contains scripts for meditations and running orders for each type of circle. We encourage you to create your own flow. We want each circle to have an individual look, feel and flavour. We just ask that you always treat the Red Tent as Sacred Space.
5. What prior learning or experience do I have to have?
None. But preference will be given to Holistic Wellness Practitioners, Counsellors or Mental Health Experts. Women's well-being leaders.

____________________________________________
Other Desired Skills
- First Aid Qualifications, Working With Children Checks, Counselling, Therapy, Community Work, or Health Certifications, Women's Work (such as rites of passage, women's circle facilitation, group work) are helpful, but not necessary to undertake this training.
6. How much time per month does it take to run a branch of RTA?
To start with you will be spending a few hours per week reading everything, learning the ropes and talking to people about your branch and you will love every minute of it. After your branch is established and you have a list of potential topics and guest speakers it will take less time to organise. You will create your events on Facebook and then invite all your connections and ask them to share it. Hanging posters at like-minded businesses is a great idea and putting articles in the free section of your local papers is good too. The actual circle is 2-3 hours once a month plus set up and pull down time. YOU CHOOSE YOUR HOURS! It's completely up to you how much time, effort and energy you put into growing and nurturing your branch, it is your business to grow as you wish!
7. Will I have help?
You will be joining a sisterhood of Facilitators who have a wealth of experience; you will be welcomed with open arms. We have an Executive Committee who are dedicated to your success and want to help you shine.
8. I’m a business owner. Can I talk about my business at my Red Tent?
Yes- if you are a Corporate Member of RTA.
With all respect to Tupperware, we do not want to turn RTA circles into Tupperware parties. We encourage business owners to become members of our trusted network of service providers, our alternative economy; our Corporate Directory. We also encourage our facilitators to look to our Corp Members to be special guest speakers at their branches. We want to support our sisters and share the knowledge!!!
You can be a special guest at your own branch talking about your business, just not every month.
Red Tent Aotearoa is committed to providing a platform for women to initiate their healing.
The Red Tent is a place for women to feel that connection and to offer and receive that support.
We want to help women to free themselves from the isolation of today’s modern world and find their tribe."
Are you ready dear one?
Then let's begin.....
